In case of any unforeseen situation that your goods are damaged upon arriving at a new location, you can claim TheLorry’s insurance under Liberty Insurance. The claims are for declared items only, excluding, Livestock & Bloodstock, Containers, Electronics, Jewelry, and others (You can read the complete list on TheLorry’s General FAQ). All damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours after receiving. Make a Claim Document stating – the inventory list, description of the damage, the value of the item(s), Insurance Declaration Form, and police report (if any). Standard insurance loss excess is RM1,500 each. You can add another RM20 for Insurance coverages of up to RM10,000 with your booking.

If after packing, you realise that 1 trip is not possible to bring all your items to your new place, you can always request multiple trips to accommodate in moving the required boxes. There will be a small fee imposed for the trips depending on how many times it's needed to pick up the boxes. It's advisable to contact TheLorry to calculate the additional charges required as it's a per-trip basis based on the original prices from the start. To reduce any last-minute charges during the day of moving out, you are suggested to choose the right vehicle to match the total items you will need to move out.
